My name is Sherman Lai, and I'm a design professional.
I am currently employed at studioMUSarx (an architectural, museum planning, and exhibit design studio located in the heart of Philadelphia's Art Museum District) as a lead senior architectural and exhibit designer. My recent work focuses on the development of all things museum, highly intricate and sophisticated interactive exhibits, visitor centers, and commericial building fit-outs. I have prior experience in multiple market sectors, with involvement in educatiosnal, residential, multi-family, mixed-use, and adaptive reuse projects. My designs have been recognized by the AIA as an emerging professional, and the projects I have recently worked on has been featured in the National Geographic and on NPR (National Public Radio).
I am currently taking the ARE (Architect Registration Examination) for my initial registration and license. I look forward to my LEED accreditation and future NCARB certification for licensure reciprocity to practice architecture throughout the United States.
You'll likely find me at a design lecture, the next AIA National Convention, or out and about exploring a new urban city. I'm all about building new business relationships and opportunities.
